UP KGMU and Lohia Institute recruitment for doctors and clerk posts

The state government has a goal of having one medical college in each district, per CM Yogi's directives.

Two of the state’s major super specialty institutes have received a significant gift from the Yogi government. King George Medical University (KGMU) and Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences won’t be short on medical professionals. In both institutions, the state government has approved the creation of about 14,000 new positions. Both teaching and non-teaching positions are included in this. In this, there will be extensive permanent hiring. The state government has a goal of having one medical college in each district, per CM Yogi’s directives.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, more than a dozen district hospitals have been transformed into medical colleges in this series. In the state today, 35 medical colleges are active. The staff crisis won’t be tolerated in these medical facilities, according to Pathak. The state government had previously created 45,000 posts to address this staffing shortage in government medical colleges. The state’s super specialty institutes are now in the spotlight.

In the KGMU of Lucknow, a total of 10,000 42 posts have been created. 1256 of these are for faculty. 515 faculty positions will be in broad and superspecialties, and 741 will be for resident physicians. There are also 8,786 positions that are not teaching. which includes jobs for nurses, paramedics, clerks, and other occupations. There will be 1063 outsourcing posts and 7669 regular category non-academic cadre posts in these. 54 additional non-teaching positions in the non-academic cadre will also be filled through outsourcing. A total of 3862 new positions at the Lohia Institute have been approved at the same time. 3059 non-teaching posts and 803 teaching positions are included in this. Alok Kumar, the principal secretary for medical education, has stated that the authorised positions in both of these institutions will be filled gradually as needed. The hiring process will soon begin.
