Winners of Milad-un-Nabi celebratory programmes felicitated

The chief guest at the award ceremony, Allama Dr. Mustaqeem Ahmad Faizi of Darul Huda University, spoke on the numerous facets of the Prophet's life and his relevance in the present.

Milad-un-Nabi celebratory programmes: As part of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, the Seerat Committee, AMU Malappuram Centre, Kerala, organised a variety of competitive events, including speech, poster-making, essay writing, and naat competitions. Many students participated in these events and showed their respect for the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) in their own unique ways.

The winners of the speech competition’s first, second, and third places in the English category were Mohd Hassan, Afina S. S., and Arshid Khan, while the winners of the first, second, and third places in the Hindi/Urdu category were Fahiyan, Faiz Akram, and Mohd Umair. Under the Malayalam category, Asif Ali, Younus KT, and M. Musthafa KP won first, second, and third place, respectively.

Shahana Jahan took home the first place award in the poster-making competition, while Kashish Khan and Sidra Waseem split the second place reward. Zohra Iqubal received third place honours.

Sidra Wasim won the first place in the English essay competition, while S. Mohd Hasan and Afina S.S. tied for second place, and Shagil Ansari took home third place.

Faiz Akram, Mohd Umair, and Natiq Adnan took home the top three spots in the Urdu/Hindi essay competition, while Younus VT took home the top spot in the Malayalam essay competition, Muhammed Musthafa K.P. and Umm Abeedha tied for second, and Mohd Assaf Ali, Nafiha Fashana, and Fathima Filu tied for third.

Asif Meer took home the top award in the Urdu/Hindi Naat competition, followed by Sidra Waseem in second place and Mohd Saeed in third. In the Arabic Naat competition, however, Mohd Umair, Mohd Sinan, and Musharraf won first, second, and third place, respectively. Additionally, Mohd. Sinan won the Malayalam Naat competition’s top honour.

Additionally, a group of students performed Qaseeda Burda Shareef.

He claimed that because Islam welcomed individuals from all walks of life and gave them the best human rights, its adherents aspired to live in a just society.

Prior to that, Mr. Mohammad Ahzam Khan and Dr. Sadaf Jafri awarded prizes to the winners after Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik, Director Incharge, welcomed the guest speaker.

Various sessions were led by Mohammad Nadeem, Umair Siddiqi, Alia Arif, and Noor Afsha, with a vote of gratitude from Mohammad Qais.
