“Physically, I’m almost at the end of my rope,” he told the doctor. He then began discussing his “food fantasies,” unaware that he was the final competitor in the competition.

In the final scene, he is stunned while sitting in his moss-covered shelter with his wife. She inquires as to the highlights of his journey. He described a “really cool encounter with an owl. This will truly blow your consciousness. It will boggle your intellect.”
