BCI postpones All India Bar Examination due to Covid-19 pandemic

All India Bar Examination, abbreviated as AIBE, is a national level exam conducted by Bar Council of India (BCI) with the objective of assessing the capability of advocates who want to practice law in India.

AIBE Exam postponed: The Bar Council of India has decided to postpone All India Bar Examination (AIBE) in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. The exam was scheduled to be held on August 16.

In addition to postponing the exam, the council has also said that it had extended deadline for exam applications till August 30.

AIBE Admit Card 2020: How to download online

Go to the official website.

Click on the AIBE 2020 Admit Card option.

Enter your login details Registration Number and Password.

Login and download the Admit Card for examination.

Print the Admit Card on A4 sheet.

All India Bar Examination 2020: Here is what notification says

“As per the resolution dated 29.7.2020, keeping in view the present pandemic situation and frequent lockdown, increasing number of corona patients daily, the Council has resolved to postpone the All India Bar Examination to be held on 16.8.2020 and it has further resolved to extend the date of receipt of applications from candidates till 31.8.2020 (for the present). The date of examination and other schedules are to be considered and decided by the Monitoring Committee for A.I.B.E. (headed by the Hon’ble former Judge of Supreme Court).”
