CLAT 2023 exam guidelines released, code of conduct, bell times, and grading method

CLAT 2023 exam instructions have been provided by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for candidates taking the exam. The CLAT 2023 examination is planned for 18 December 2022. CLAT 2023 admit cards have been distributed. Candidates can indicate their preferences for admission to national law universities (NLUs) and download their admit card from the consortium’s official website, consortiumofnlusc.ac.in.

CLAT 2023 necessary items/documents to bring

PwDs/SAPs must bring their original disability certificate to the examination site.

CLAT 2023 marking scheme

The CLAT UG 2023 question paper will include of 150 questions. Each correct answer is worth one point. Each incorrect response will result in a reduction of 0.25 points. There will be no deduction for questions left unanswered.

CLAT examination report time

Candidates will be authorised to enter the examination centre beginning at 1:00 p.m. and must be seated by 1:30 p.m.

Once a candidate has entered the examination room, he will not be permitted to leave before 4:00 p.m.

Candidates who arrive after 14:15 will not be authorised to take the exam.

The CLAT 2023 examination will last two hours and begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Candidates who arrive between 2:00 pm and 2:15 pm will not be granted additional time to complete the exam.

Candidates are not permitted to use the restroom after entering the examination room.

Before beginning the examination, candidates must tell their Invigilators of any medical concerns.

Candidates may retain the question paper, OMR sheet copy, and CLAT admit card signed by the proctor following the conclusion of the examination. The CLAT 2023 answer key will be made available shortly after the conclusion of the examination.
