NID DAT 2024 (Prelims) exam: On September 8, 2024, the National Institute of Design (NID) released the registration for NID DAT 2024. The online application is available at admissions.nid.edu. The NID 2024 application is for admission to B.Des and M.Des programs offered by NID-participating institutions. The submission deadline for completed applications is December 1, 2023. However, late fees will extend the application deadline to December 3, 2023.

The Design Aptitude Test, or DAT, is administered in two stages: DAT Preliminaries, followed by DAT Mains.
The DAT Prelims scores will be used to shortlist candidates for the DAT Main Exam.
The FINAL merit list for NID DAT 2024 will be created by giving DAT Prelims and DAT Mains equal weight.
