Overall, about 35 lakh students of class 10th and 12th had given the examination of 10th, 12th this time. This time 21,16,209 students were registered in class 10th examination and 14,54,370 students were registered in class 12th examination.
Significantly, due to Corona, CBSE had divided this academic year into two terms. Term-1 exam was held in November-December 2021. Objective type questions were asked from the students in Term-1. The result was released three months after the term-1 examination.
Last year the 10th and 12th examinations were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the students of both the classes were released on the basis of alternative evaluation policy. CBSE Board did not release the topper and merit list due to lack of examination. In class 10th 99.04 percent and in class 12th 99.37 percent of students passed.
