Due to the infinite recyclability of aluminum, 75% of all aluminum produced is still in circulation. This implies that aluminum cans contain 73% recycled material on average. Producing a can from recycled cans requires 90 percent less energy and generates 90 percent fewer emissions than producing the same can from virgin material.
