1. Open WhatsApp on your smartphone. Then go to Status tap.

2. In this section the status will appear at the top.

3. Then in the top right corner, you have to click on the three top button appearing on the side of the search bar.

4. Here the option of status privacy will appear. To tap on it.

5. Then three options will appear My Contacts, My Contacts Except and Only Share with.

6. To hide the status from some people, select the option My Contacts Except.

7. A list of contacts will appear as soon as you tap on it. Then you have to save it by ticking on their name.

8. If only want to share status with special people. Then only share with option can be selected.
