In September, Pillsbury Company posted a pizza cake recipe by Shawn Syphus and it went viral — making them sometimes erroneously attributed as the creator of the recipe.
The Boston Pizza’s pizza cake is six-layered, and the Daily Mirror assigned it a total of 5,000 calories. There were varying reviews about the recipe. Some said it’s more complicated than it seemed, the crispiness in the crust was lacking, and it’s unhealthier than regular pizza. While others stated it was worth recommending.
