NexRep devised the holiday in 2023 as part of their mission to transform the lives of contact centre employees for the better. After leading the work-at-home movement for 14 years, they wanted to create a holiday that highlights the wellness benefits remote workers enjoy, as well as provide a platform through which people who don’t currently work at home can learn about its benefits and determine if it’s a lifestyle they should adopt.
