During a recent interview that appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, the supermodel talked about the challenges of sharing parental responsibilities with her former spouse, Tom Brady. She acknowledged that sometimes her kids “get pushback.”

Bündchen said, “especially because now they’re in two different homes, and there are two different ways,” elaborating on how her distinct parenting style originates from a feeling of “owing” her kids the knowledge her mother gave her.

Among other things, she imparted advice such as, “The way you organise, make your bed, and arrange your room is the way you’re going to live your life.” Bündchen acknowledged that her kids are lucky compared to her own generation, but she still does her hardest to provide them the tools they need to be successful.

She questioned, “If you’re not learning now, when will you learn and with whom?” Vivian, age 11, and Benjamin, age 14, are Bündchen and Brady’s two children. She was also Brady’s stepmother at the time the football player dated Bridget Moynahan, an actress. Jack, Brady’s child, is sixteen years old.

In October 2022, Brady and Bündchen, who had been married for 13 years, announced their divorce. During the announcement, they both emphasised that co-parenting their kids was their joint top priority.

She knows full well that due of Bündchen and Brady’s public personalities, more people are watching her personal life than ever before, especially as a single mother navigating this new phase. She doesn’t give a damn about other people’s opinions, though.

 

Bündchen told Harper’s this week, “I can’t really worry about what other people say about me because what they say about me is none of my business. It’s really their business that they’re trying to project onto me.” She declared, “I’m never going to live my truth if that’s going to affect me.”
