To honour their mourning, the Moonbin family desired that the funeral be conducted in private, without media attention or public interference.

They wished for the entire funeral process, including the vigil and funeral procession’s departure, to be conducted without media coverage and for those in mourning to be given privacy.

Moonbin’s agency, Fantagio, issued a statement on April 20 confirming that the K-Pop artist’s funeral would be conducted in private at the request of his grieving family.

Fantagio also confirmed that JinJin and Sanha, two of Moonbin’s fellow ASTRO members, are in command of his funeral arrangements. Cha Eun Woo, another member of the group, is currently returning from the United States, though his future intentions are unknown.

The organisation conveyed its sorrow and requested the public’s assistance in commemorating Moonbin’s final journey.
