Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey announce their engagement

Recently, Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey announced their engagement. Friday, the engaged couple posted a series of black-and-white images to Instagram to announce their engagement. The San Francisco 49ers player is seen on one knee in the carousel post, with Culpo holding her hands in front of her face in what appears to be an expression of genuine astonishment. She posted an Instagram photo with the date “4.2.23” to indicate the date the football sensation proposed on one knee.

Sunday at the upscale Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point, Utah’s red rock landscape served as the setting for the engagement, which was accompanied by a bouquet of flowers. Culpo donned a dress with knee-high boots and a loose-fitting blazer. Before McCaffrey stubbed his finger on a large boulder, she wore modest earrings almost exclusively.

According to a reliable source, the couple has even discussed taking their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. Christian is extremely well-liked by Olivia’s sisters and her family. In an Instagram post on Valentine’s Day the following year, the then-30-year-old model referred to the then-26-year-old football player as her “greatest friend.”

Before McCaffrey, Culpo’s ex-boyfriends included athletes Ryan Lochte, Tim Tebow, and Danny Amendola. In November 2022, Culpo explained to ET’s Deidre Behar why she made an exception for McCaffrey to her “never again athletes” rule.

Olivia exclaimed, “He’s the greatest, he’s everything I could ever want!” at the time. “As a consequence, I have nothing to stress about. This is likely the reason why I’ve never been interested in courting an athlete, no offence.”
