The festival is a treat for foodies and entertainment devotees, coinciding with the beginning of Miami’s renowned stone crab season. This four-day event features live music, numerous tastings, chef competitions, and interactive cookery sessions.

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and the Board of County Commissioners proudly support this gastronomic event that honours South Florida’s marine treasures and renowned chefs and restaurants.

The schedule of the festival comprises four ticketed events. It begins on October 18 with “An Evening at Joe’s Stone Crab,” where guests can enjoy a five-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Andre Bienvenu and paired with exquisite wines selected by expert sommeliers.

This event is sponsored by Single Barrel Jack Daniels. The following evening, the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel will host “Crabs, Slabs & Cabs,” a revamped formal dinner with an international spin on the classic ‘Surf n’ Turf.’ Five of Miami’s most renowned chefs, headed by GOYA Foods’ Executive Chef Fernando Desa, will curate this experience.

Twenty of Miami’s culinary masters will compete in ten seafood challenges at the “Chef Showdown” on Friday, causing the tension to rise. This event will also feature the return of the champions from the previous year, who will attempt to defend their title.

The week’s celebrations will culminate on October 21 with the “South Beach Seafood Festival.” This all-day event will feature pop-up cafés from acclaimed South Florida restaurants. Guests can also enjoy live music, culinary seminars, and interactive brand experiences, in addition to the culinary delights. Multiple bars throughout the venue will keep visitors hydrated.
