Thousands of eligible Alaska residents are set to receive a $1,000 Permanent Fund Dividend payment on June 18, 2026, as the state continues processing approved applications from the 2025 dividend cycle.
SSDI Payment May 2024
Alaska PFD Payment June 18: The Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend, or PFD, is a yearly payment for people who qualify and live in Alaska. For the 2025 dividend year, the official amount is $1,000 for each eligible person, according to the Alaska Department of Revenue. The state also says people can check their case through “myPFD”.
A new round of payments is set for June 18, 2026. The state says any 2025 or older application that shows “Eligible-Not Paid” on June 10, 2026 will be paid on that date. Another payment round is already planned for July 16, 2026 for applications that reach “Eligible-Not Paid” by July 8, 2026.
To qualify for the 2025 PFD, a person must have lived in Alaska for all of calendar year 2024. The person must also plan to stay an Alaska resident forever when they apply. The state says the applicant must not have claimed residency in any other state or country since December 31, 2023. There are also crime and incarceration rules that can stop some people from getting paid.
Social Security COLA 2026: How Much More Money Are Recipients Getting in June?
The filing season for the 2026 round ran from January 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026. The Alaska PFD FAQ says late applications are denied by law unless a special exception applies. The state also says online and paper applications can take different amounts of time to process, so people should keep checking their status.
Eligibility for the 2025 PFD is based on residency, physical presence, and legal criteria. Applicants must meet all conditions to qualify for payment.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Residency | Lived in Alaska for the entire 2024 calendar year |
| Intent | Intends to remain an Alaska resident indefinitely |
| Other claims | No residency claimed elsewhere since December 31, 2023 |
| Absences | No more than 180 days outside Alaska without valid reasons |
| Physical presence | At least 72 consecutive hours in Alaska in 2023 or 2024 |
| Legal status | No felony convictions and not incarcerated |
For people waiting on payment, the words “Eligible-Not Paid” are the most important. That status means the state has decided the person qualifies, but the money has not gone out yet. Once an application reaches that stage, it is usually included in the next payment batch. That is why the June 10 cutoff matters so much for the June 18 payment.

The Alaska Department of Revenue also tells applicants to keep their address correct and to update details if needed. The official PFD site says people may need to make changes online or use an address change form. This helps avoid delays.
