Social Security Payment June 24: A big Social Security payment round is coming at the end of June 2026. The last regular June payment will go out on Wednesday, June 24. It is for retirement, disability, and survivor beneficiaries whose birthday falls between the 21st and 31st of any month, as long as they started getting benefits after May 1, 1997. The Social Security Administration’s payment calendar puts these people on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
This is not a payment day for everyone. It is only for one group under the staggered Social Security schedule. People born from the 1st to the 10th were paid on June 10. Those born from the 11th to the 20th were paid on June 17. People who got Social Security before May 1997 were paid on June 3. SSI recipients were on a different track and got paid on Monday, June 1.
June 2026 Florida SNAP Schedule: Check If Your EBT Deposit Is Coming This Week
The easiest way to check your payment date is to look at three things. First is the kind of benefit you get. Second is your birthday. Third is the date when your benefits started. If you get retirement, disability, or survivor benefits and your birthday is from the 21st through the 31st, June 24 is your day if you filed after May 1, 1997. People who receive both SSI and Social Security, or people who started before May 1997, usually follow the older payment pattern instead.
SSI normally comes on the first day of the month. The rule is simple, and it can move earlier only when the first day lands on a weekend or federal holiday. In June 2026, that did not happen, so SSI was paid on June 1.
Texas SNAP Payment Schedule: Who Gets Benefits Between June 15 and 21?
There is no single June 24 amount for everyone. Social Security checks are different for each person. The amount depends on:
The 2026 COLA was 2.8%, which raised many payments.
If a payment does not show up on time, the SSA says not to rush right away. First, allow three extra mailing days before contacting Social Security.
If the money was sent electronically, the agency says to check with the bank first because it “may be experiencing a delay in posting your payment.”
If the payment is still missing, late, or stolen, the SSA says “We will review the case, and if the payment is due, we will replace it.” The agency also says people can call 1-800-772-1213 or reach a local office
