Right now, the United States Women’s National Team is ranked higher than any other CONCACAF country, surpassing Jamaica, Costa Rica, Canada, and Mexico to round out the top five.

With their worst-ever performance at the tournament, the USWNT lost to Sweden in a penalty shootout in the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which was extremely disheartening. But they will be heavy favorites to win the inaugural W Gold Cup, especially at home.
