1. On your desktop or laptop, open any browser and visit Instagram.com.

2. Enter your Instagram login information to log in.

3. From the upper-right corner, select the profile button.

4. Select the “Edit Profile” menu item.

Click the “Temporarily disable my account” option after swiping down.

6. Select the explanation and finish the process by entering the account password again.

How to permanently delete an Instagram account?

1. Open the Instagram.com website on a laptop or PC, then log in with your login information.

2. Next, to access the “Delete your account” page, click this link.

3. From the drop-down option, choose the explanation for deleting the Instagram account.

4. When prompted, enter the account password again.

5. To finish the procedure, select “Permanently delete my account.”

Your account won’t be visible on Instagram anymore but you have 30 days to reverse your decision and reactivate it. After that, it’s real-real gone.
