How to Transfer Contacts From One Gmail Account to Another?

It normally just takes a few minutes to transfer these contacts, and you can even utilise the exported contact list again at a later time if desired.

Transfer Contacts From One Gmail Account to Another: The era saw the end of individually storing contacts, as Android now automatically backs up all contacts to the device’s default Gmail account.

People sometimes complain about losing their contacts from their old Gmail account when they switch to a new one. Fortunately, there is a method that lets users move all of their contacts from their old Gmail account to their new one. Here’s how to go about doing it:

Prior requirements:

• The login information for both the new and old Gmail accounts

• A functional internet link

How to Transfer Contacts From One Gmail Account to Another?

Method 1: Making use of a Mac or PC

1.On a PC, navigate to contacts.google.com.

2. Select the “More” option.

3. Select the ‘Export’ option from the menu drop-down.

4. Choose every contact you wish to move in the following step, then export it in “Google CSV format.”

5. Select the location on your computer where you wish to save the file by clicking the “Export” button.

6. Once the CSV file has been exported, sign out of the original Gmail account and sign in with the new account’s login information.

7. Here, select the CSV file, click Import, and choose “Import” instead of “Export.”

8. Now, remove the previous Gmail account, add the new one, and watch as your phone’s contacts sync.

Method 2: Making use of an Android gadget.

  1. Get your phone’s Google Contacts app open.
  2. Use the Google Play Store to download it if it isn’t already installed.
  3. Click or tap the Menu icon.
  4. Select ‘Settings’ by swiping down.
  5. Select the ‘Export’ option.
  6. Put the new account in and delete the old one now.
  7. After that, return to the Contacts app.
  8. Press the Menu icon.
  9. From the Import/Export section, select the Import option.
  10. Click “Import from storage” now, and when the popup appears, choose Google.

It may be necessary to transfer your Gmail contact list to another account once you have established a useful list. Depending on how many contacts you have, manually entering each one would take a lot of time if you didn’t use an automated approach. You may export and then import part or all of your contacts from one Gmail account to another, whether you’re creating a new one or you have employees that require access to your contact list. It normally just takes a few minutes to transfer these contacts, and you can even utilise the exported contact list again at a later time if desired.
