WBUHS PhD Admission 2023: Last date for registration on January 31, direct link and other details

WBUHS PhD Admission 2023 update: The West Bengal University of Health Sciences has started receiving applications for WBUHS PhD Admission 2023.

“Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Research Aptitude Test for determining eligibility for admission to Full-time/Part-time research leading to PhD Award in Health Sciences. Candidate should satisfy himself / herself that he / she fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed for the admission.

It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to Register & Confirm the Online Application Form through login portal by him or herself on website.(Offline applications will not be accepted). The online portal for
application form will be opened from 2nd January,2023,” read an official notification on the official website.

It should be noted that all documents are required to be uploaded online at the time of application for PhD program through the portal. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary original documents
ready at the time of Document Verification as notified by the University.

The Documents to be uploaded during the time of online application are followings

A) Candidates eligible for written Entrance Test

1. Eligibility qualification of candidate: % marks statement / grade of qualifying PG degree/UG degree
from respective university.

2. SC/ST/EWS/OBC certificate issued/validated in West Bengal. Recent OBC ‘NCL’ certificate issued
after January, 2022 will be accepted.

B) Candidates in exempted category

1. Eligibility qualification of candidate: % marks statement / grade of qualifying PG degree/UG degree
from respective university.

2. SC/ST/EWS/OBC certificate issued/validated in West Bengal. Recent OBC ‘NCL’ certificate issued
after January, 2022 will be accepted.

3. Supportive documents for exempting the entrance test The online application fee is Rs. 3000 per candidate. Payment must be done through online
gateway.

Candidates can save & download Application form for their own record. Eligibility rules as specified in notification shall be strictly followed and shall not be relaxed under any circumstances. Candidates may exercise caution while filling up the application form online and must provide all the required documents during application & subsequent document verification. University will not be responsible for failure of uploading documents or verification on part of the candidate.

In case of failure to upload the genuine supportive documents during application the candidature may be cancelled. The last date for receipt of applications online is 31.01.2023. (16.00 hrs.)

No refund will be made if once submitted the application form and later deleting or not appearing for test or duplication of application forms.

For candidates pursuing PhD Program, there is no scholarship / grant or any other pecuniary support from the University.

The registration for PhD shall be granted subject to availability of supervising teachers in respective
disciplines of PhD research institute and as per the norms and regulations framed by the UGC.
