Alexis Fagan-Williams will represent the state of Michigan in the impending Miss USA 2023 Pageant, where the reigning queen, R’Bonney Gabriel, Miss Texas USA 2022, Miss USA 2022, and Miss Universe 2022, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the Grand Finale at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. Alexis lost her father to gun violence when she was eight years old, and she is now passionate about sharing her story with at-risk children in Michigan in an effort to inspire them to surmount adversity. Alexis Fagan-Williams Biography: She has been a Best Buddies volunteer since the age of 14, and she currently serves on the Best Buddies Michigan Advisory Board, working with local, state, and national personnel. Alexis enjoys reading, viewing 90s movies, and traveling in her spare time, and she was able to study abroad in Greece to explore her Greek heritage!
Alexus Warchock, a Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Michigan who competed as Miss Jackson County Rosequeen USA 2022, says of herself, “Winning combination of technical skills and communication skills developed through various experiences, including conducting biomechanics research and developing microfluidic based wearable biosensors, coordinating assemblies for local community schools, and founding a UM-Dearborn chapter.” She was dubbed Miss Jackson Crossroads 2018 and Michigan’s 2017 Distinguished Young Woman.
