On October 3, 2015, the mixed martial artist competed in his first match at the fourth Battle of Copenhagen, which he won by submission. Up until June 15, 2017, he amassed a record of 10-0 with nine consecutive victories as an amateur fighter. On June 16, 2017, he faced Imad Hoayek of Lebanon at IMMAF and lost by split decision.
