Anu Hasan Biography: Born Anuradha Chandrahaasan, Anu Haasan is an Indian actress and news anchor. She debuted in 1995’s critically acclaimed Indira and has since appeared in numerous Tamil films in supporting roles. Early years
Anu attended St.Joseph’s Anglo Indian Girls Higher Secondary School, Trichy, and RSK Higher Secondary School, and she earned an MSc in Physics and Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan.
Anu Hasan Career
In the year 2000, she made her television debut in the adaptation of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s award-winning novel Sister of My Heart, Anbulla Snehgidhiye. She then starred in a number of television series, including Avan Aval Avargal, Ammaavukku Rendula Raagu, and Vivahita (Malayalam), before becoming the host of the STAR Vijay talk programme Koffee with Anu (named after herself). The programme, which she hosted for more than four years, quickly gained popularity and ultimately made her a household name in Tamil Nadu.
She joined the Ask How India social movement in 2014 and produced a series of recordings on social issues.
Anu has also worked as a dubbing artist, contributing her voice to a number of non-Tamil-speaking actresses, such as Raveena Tandon, Preity Zinta, and Geetu Mohandas.
She writes a monthly column for the magazine Just for Women (India).

Anu Hasan was previously married to Vikas, but their union was short-lived and they later divorced. After a few years of living alone, she married her longtime British partner Graham Jay in a private ceremony in 2010. Anu and Graham met on a music-related website, and their acquaintance evolved into love and then marriage.
