He attended Victoria Institution in Kuala Lumpur for his secondary education and graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in 1967.

The current Sultan and Prime Minister of Brunei are Hassanal Bolkiah. Since 1967, he has been in authority, making him one of the world’s longest-reigning monarchs.
