She attended Delhi Public School, Visakhapatnam, for her elementary and secondary education before graduating from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
Rashmi began her acting career as a juvenile artist in the 2002 film “Holi” at the age of 14. She subsequently appeared in several films, including Adi c/o ABN College (2004), Thanks (2006), Current (2009), and Evaraina Epudaina (2009).
