Tracy Morgan Biography: Tracy, an actor-comedian, was born Tracy Jamal Morgan in the Bronx, New York City, on November 10, 1968. His childhood was difficult, and he was bereaved of two loved ones: his father, Jimmy Morgan, Sr., who died of AIDS in November 1987, and his closest friend, who was brutally murdered. He initially turned to humor as an escape from his turbulent life, and he subsequently began performing stand-up comedy.

Before he was cast as Hustle Man in Martin Lawrence’s sitcom “Martin” from 1994 to 1996, Morgan showcased his talents at the Apollo Theater in Harlem and the Uptown Comedy Club. He remained a cast member of the renowned sketch comedy “Saturday Night Live” for the subsequent seven years after his departure from the program. Regrettably, “The Tracy Morgan Show,” which Morgan hosted subsequent to his departure from “S.N.L.” in 2003, was abruptly terminated following a single season.
