CBSE Class 12 Economics Preparation 2024: Sample Paper and Preparation Tips

CBSE Class 12 Economics Preparation 2024: Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Board Exam 2024 date sheet. According to the schedule, the Class 12 board exams will take place from February 15 to March 2, 2024. Students can access sample papers and essential tips to prepare for the examinations here.

As one of the most important subjects in the CBSEBoard examinations, Economics caters to both the Commerce and Humanities streams. This subject requires a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects, as well as the ability to apply knowledge and interpret it effectively.

The following are general instructions

  • The examination consists of 80 marks and lasts for three hours.

  • In the question paper, there are two sections:

  1. Macroeconomics is the focus of Section A.

  2. Indian Economic Development is discussed in Section B.

  • This paper consists of 20 Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying one mark.

  • Additionally, the paper contains the following information:

  1. Answers should be between 60 and 80 words, and each question is worth 3 marks.

  2. A total of six short answer questions, each worth four marks, should be responded to in 80 to 100 words.

  3. There are four long answer questions, each of which carries six marks, with responses expected to be between 100 and 150 words in length.
