The Seerat Committee of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Malappuram Centre, Kerala recently hosted its annual Ali Day Programme, a cherished tradition that celebrates the teachings and legacy of Hazrat Ali. The event consisted of symposium and essay writing, speech, poster making, and Naat recitation competitions.

Guest speakers Dr. Syed Mohd Fazlur Rahman and Syeda Aasima Zainab delivered enlightening addresses, expounding upon Hazrat Ali’s teachings and their relevance in contemporary times.

Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik, Convenor of the Seerat Committee, extended a warm welcome to the attendees.

In his presidential address, Dr. Faisal KP, Director of the Centre discussed Imam Ali’s profound insights into knowledge and the order of the universe, highlighting the importance of spiritual enlightenment in today’s society. Mr. Mohd Ahazam Khan, Assistant Registrar shed light on the educational value and cultural significance of the programme.

Earlier, the symposium began with a Qirat recitation by Shami Mohd, while Saeed Masroor and Sidra Wasim recited Naat and Asif Haider presented Manqabat adding a spiritual dimension to the event.

Mr. Saad Ahmed, Assistant Professor from the Department of Management, delivered a vote of thanks.

In the poster making competition, Sidra Khan (BALLB), Nishat Fatima (MBA), and Anusha Mujeeb (MBA) received the first, second and third prizes respectively.

In the Naat competition, Saeed Masroor (Law), Sidra Waseem (Law) and Syed Asif Haider (MBA) bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively.

In the speech competition (English), Nihal Mohammad (Law), Afina S.S. (Law) and Abdur Rahman (Bed) were declared first, second and third respectively.

In the Urdu speech competition, Umair Siddiqui (Law) bagged the first prize while Mohd Hassan (Law) and Athar Khan (Law) got the first and second prizes respectively.

In the English essay writing competition, Afina S (Law), Sidra Waseem (Law) and Nihal Mohammad (Law) got the first, second and third prizes respectively.

In the Malayalam essay writing competition the first, second and third prizes were bagged by Ummu Abeedha (Law), Muhammed Musthafa (BEd) and Mohammed Assaf Ali (BEd) respectively.

  • (2.4.) You understand that once You leave Our servers, use of any information You provide shall be governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site used by You.
