CBSE Board Exams 2024: No extension on the deadline for submission of LOC for Class 10, 12

Previously, the CBSE had instructed both school administrators and students to identify subjects accurately on the 'identify of Candidates.'

CBSE Board Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the CBSE Board Exams 2024. The notice stated that the board will not extend the deadline for submitting LOC information for upcoming board exams.

Before submitting the data to the Board, schools are required to rigorously verify the data’s accuracy and rigidly adhere to the deadlines specified in the notification. It also added that CBSE will not accept requests for corrections pertaining to subjects or any other data subsequent to the submission of the LOC and there will be no opportunity to modify the uploaded information.

The official notice emphasises the need for schools to double-check the information they provide, including the names of candidates and their mothers/guardians. This information should correspond with the admissions records maintained by the institutions. The CBSE compiles the names of class 10 and 12 pupils for the board examinations using the LOC forms. Check out the notice regarding LOC and additional information at cbse.gov.in.

Staff charged with filing out forms should also be made aware of all the guidelines outlined in the aforementioned circular in order to prevent errors. Parents may also be briefed on the significance of correct data and the repercussions of submitting inaccurate data, according to the official notification.

Previously, the CBSE had instructed both school administrators and students to identify subjects accurately on the ‘identify of Candidates.’ Students who fail to comply will be ineligible to take the grade board exams. The board has expressed concern regarding the irresponsibility of students, which has led to the submission of incorrect information on candidate forms. The CBSE also emphasised that institutions are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of student information.
