In August 2023, the CTET 2023 was administered in two shifts: Paper-I (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM) and Paper-II (2:45 PM to 5:00 PM). Nearly 80% of those who registered for the examination out of a total of 29 lakh students actually took it. The exam was administered in 3121 examination centres in 136 cities nationwide.
