This year, the result of NEET, the entrance exam for MBBS course, is expected to be out by August 16-17. After this the counseling round will start, for which you need to be mentally prepared. Rakesh Jain is telling
After qualifying the NEET exam, the student has to participate in the process of medical admission counseling to take admission. Although complete transparency is maintained in this process, yet this process becomes very complicated due to huge difference in popularity, fees, demand and supply of medical colleges. That’s why counseling can be the right way to help you get the right course after clearing the exam. But people are less aware about the counseling process.
Some people do not even consider the role of a counselor as credible in this context and consider it a way to make money, whereas a good counselor not only gives you information about the counseling process, but also makes you aware of the changes and their impact in that process. he does. He assesses your chances of admission in all medical colleges on the basis of his experience and past data. Not only saves you from wasting money by alerting you from every mistake, but also helps you get admission in the best medical college according to your rank, category, domicile and fee budget.
In the year 2022, the official result of NEET is expected around August 16-17. About a week before that, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will send the OMR scan and the answer of the series question paper over email. The medical admission counseling process starts 7 to 10 days after the result declaration. This whole process will last for four months, in which you can get admission in MBBS seat in very good college with patience and knowledge.
Based on my experience, I would like to tell you some important things related to admission in MBBS course. I am sure it will be helpful for your better future.
First of all, it is important for you to understand that admission in MBBS, BAMS, BDA, BHMS, BSc Nursing is done only through counseling process.
Do not waste your money and time by falling prey to any direct recruiters.
You need to qualify NEET to apply for the counseling process. The qualifying cutoff for general category students is 50 percentile. For SC/ST children, this cut off is 40 percentile.
Last year cut off was 138, this year cut off mark is likely to be between 130-135. This means that for admission in MBBS, your marks should be higher than this.
It would be prudent to take all the necessary information related to Medical Admission Counselling.
If the child gets above 600 marks in the general category, then the chances of getting admission in the government college become very high. Between 580 and 600, this probability gradually decreases.
If the number is below 580, then the chances of admission in the government college are generally over. If the marks are less than that, only private and deemed medical colleges can get admission in ABBS.
The cost of MBBS education in private and deemed medical colleges starts from a minimum of Rs 6.5 lakhs to Rs 25 lakhs annually. Apart from this, the hostel cost separately ranges from Rs 1.5-2 lakh.
No donation is applicable for admission in any government, private or deemed medical college. Do not harm yourself by any greed.
If the child’s marks are above 450 in the first attempt, then he may have the advantage of attempting next year, but if the marks are less than 400, it is better to think about another course instead of the second attempt.
