Upload secondary education staff service details online by Nov 30: DGSE Vijay Kiran Anand

LUCKNOW: In his first set of directives since taking over as director general of secondary education, the director general of school education (DGSE) has directed officials to conduct a drive and ensure that staff service details are uploaded on the online Manav Sampada portal by November 30 in order to make the governance process fair and transparent.

DGSE Vijay Kiran Anand also issued directives to form a pool of 50 best science and mathematics teachers who will lead from the front.

He stated that, similar to basic education, secondary education will have a task force that will inspect three government schools every month. Officials have been asked to create a checklist to aid in the grading of government secondary schools across the state.

The DGSE also requested that officials expedite the tablet procurement process by the end of December. Officials from the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, which is in charge of conducting UP board examinations, have been asked to announce the timetable for class 10 and 12 exams as well as the examination centres by the end of November.

According to Anand, the government has allocated Rs 325 crore for resource mapping of government and aided secondary schools through ‘Project Alankar.’ Because the funds must be spent within the current fiscal year, officials have been asked to submit proposals so that funds can be released and work can begin right away.

The DGSE also directed officials to populate the six online portals aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of young people and children looking for work. On Teachers’ Day, the chief minister launched six portals: Pahuch, Pragyan, Pankh, Parakh, Pehchan, and Praveen.
