Build Up Episode 5: Build Up, the most recent K-pop survival program on Mnet, has been airing for five weeks. The episode 5 preview for Build Up provides a sneak peek of the Triple Death Match Mission groups, in which contestants vie for a spot on the program.
Build Up began with forty contestants, and the first elimination will occur subsequent to episode five, during which the remaining contestants will be granted an additional opportunity to remain in the survival program. Following a suspenseful 2vs2 adversary mission, the participants will unite in a three versus three competition.

Mnet K-pop’s YouTube channel will host episode 5 of Mnet’s Build Up on February 23 at 10:40 p.m. KST/8:40 a.m. ET/5:40 a.m. PT. Beginning with the upcoming episode, the Triple Death Match Mission will commence.
The Triple Death Match Mission roster remained undisclosed; however, the episode 5 preview provided a glimpse of the teams’ silhouettes, leaving viewers to speculate. The preview suggests that Jeup, Seunghun, and Suhwan will comprise a single team. Bain and Minseo are members of the same crew. Additionally, Wumuti and Hayoon are seen in the teaser together.

All of the participants, including Seokhwa, Seongjeong, Hwanhee, Hwanji, Sungwon, Seongjun, Euibin, Joohee, Inseong, and Hyukjin, are absent from the preview.
Mnet disclosed the Interim rankings at the conclusion of episode 4, which indicated the positions of the contestants following the 2vs2 mission.

Voting for all preliminary round participants is open to the public until February 25, 2024, at 8:59 a.m. ET/10.59 p.m. KST. At present, Seongjeong, Jaekyung, Euibin, Intake, Hwanji, Haram, Junhyeok, Yeonseo, Taewoo, and Yeonwoo are ranked among the bottom ten competitors.
Voting may be factored into the initial elimination, allowing members who lose but receive a greater number of global ballots to still be viable candidates according to their final standing following the Triple Death mission.
