Destiny 2 Season 22 Artifact Mods
Bungie has made public the Seasonal Artefact Mods for the forthcoming Destiny 2 Season 22. During the next Destiny 2 Showcase, more information regarding the season and the Final Shape expansion will be revealed, although the name of the season is currently unclear.
After the events of Destiny 2’s Lightfall campaign, The Witness entered the Traveller via a gateway created with The Veil’s assistance. The Guardians are now attempting to locate The Witness.
The Guardians discovered, however, that Savathun’s aid is required to defeat The Witness in Season of the Deep with Sloane and Ahsa. Bungie has now disclosed the new Artefacts Mods that players will be able to utilise against impending threats.
Bungie explained that, beginning with the new Artefact Mods, the team’s goal was to enable players to alter their play style. Bungie is achieving this by introducing brand-new sandbox features called “Elemental Orbs,” which are inspired by Strand Tangles.
These features are enabled by defeating foes with Arc, Solar, and Void weapons. Elemental Orbs were first introduced in Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event, where players could craft and collect them to become Empowered, thereby extending the duration of their Super Ability and gaining other benefits.
However, these Elemental Orbs will be distinct in that players will be able to pick them up and hurl them at enemies, which, depending on the type of orb, will jolt, scorch, or make them volatile.
Bungie then described the Season 22 Artefact Mods for Destiny 2. Recent additions consist of Overload Machine Guns, Unstoppable Fusion Rifles, and Penetrating Bowstrings. There is no artefact mod for the Stasis subclass, despite the fact that many other modifications are based on the recently added Elemental Orbs.
In addition, Bungie announced that an upcoming patch will fix a bug that prohibits the Overload Machine Gun and Hand Cannon mods from overcharging the weapons. In addition, Season 22 of Destiny 2 will feature an Exotic Mission Rotator that will reintroduce some Exotic missions that were lost due to content vaulting.
In Season 22, Bungie will release new weapons and alter the game’s economy. In addition to Season 22, which will premiere on September 1, 2023, a mission that is supposedly Crota’s End will be replayed.
