MTV Video Music Award: Taylor Swift commenced and concluded the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The Tuesday broadcast honored artists from all over the world, including Shakira, Peso Pluma, Stray Kids, Rema, and Anitta, in between the night’s most awarded artist receiving the best pop award during NSYNC’s surprise reunion and the winning video of the year.

Nicki Minaj hosted and performed during the performance, which took place at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was presented with the Global Icon Award after performing songs spanning his 30-year career alongside his children. As she accepted the Video Vanguard Award and performed a medley, Shakira’s performance of “She Wolf” was greater than ever.
