The 20-year-old performer began her set with Vampire, the lead single from her September 8th-released second studio album Guts.
The stage appeared to malfunction as the performance proceeded, with curtains and fake tree branches falling off and pyrotechnics seemingly exploding.
Rodrigo, clad in a red bra, miniskirt, leg warmers and black trainers, appeared surprised as she was escorted off the stage by a member of staff.
Later, the stage went dark as a glitched version of her smash hit Good 4 U played in the background, and she returned to perform another smash hit, Get Him Back, accompanied by a group of female performers wearing pink.
