Keene was born as Mimi Saeed in London on August 5, 1998. She resided in South Woodford and attended Churchfields Jr. She subsequently relocated to Hertfordshire and attended Divine Saviour Roman Catholic School in Abbots Langley. Eene began performing as a young child. Janey was her first professional role, appearing in the play “Kin” at The Royal Court Theatre from November 19 to December 30, 2010.
