AISSEE 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination 2023 (AISSEE). Candidates interested in enrolling in Sainik School from classes 6 to 9 can apply online at aissee.nta.nic.in, the official website of the Sainik School NTA.
Candidates who wish to enroll in classes 6 to 9 for the academic year 2023-24 in 33 Sainik Schools across the country must submit an application form by November 30, 2022.
The AISSEE entrance exam will be administered via CBT on January 8, 2023, in 180 cities across the country.
Application Fee: General, OBC, Defense, and Ex-Servicemen applicants must pay Rs 650, while SC and ST applicants must pay Rs 500.
For admission to Sainik School Class 6, students must be between the ages of 10 and 12 on March 31, 2023. This class is open to female students as well.
At the same time, students entering class 9 must be between the ages of 13 and 15 and have completed the eighth grade from any recognised board. Application eligibility will be determined at the time of admission. Candidates can consult the Information Bulletin for more information.
Sainik School is a CBSE-accredited English medium residential school. This school prepares students for the National Defense Academy, the Indian Naval Academy, and the Training Academies.
The Defense Ministry has recognised 18 new Sainik Schools, which are run by NGOs, private schools, or state governments. The Sainik School Society will oversee all recognised schools.
