IIT-Madras announces JAM 2024: The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (IIT-Madras) announces JAM 2024 on February 11, 2024.
On September 5, registration for the exam will start. The deadline for applications is October 13.
Candidates may apply for JAM 2024 whether they have an undergraduate degree or whether they are enrolled in their last year of an undergraduate curriculum. There is no upper age limit.
Foreign nationals having degrees from India are eligible to apply, subject to the admissions institute’s rules.

Online applications are accepted at the official website. In JAM 2024, seven test papers — Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH) — will be administered as computer-based exams in more than 100 locations around the nation.
Candidates on the merit list are eligible for admission to around 2000 seats at IISc and NITs, as well as about 3000 places in various postgraduate programmes at IITs. The JAM score will be used to determine admission to the MSc, MSc-MTech dual degree, and MS (research) programmes.
Scores from JAM 2024 are only good for a year.
