WHAT NATIONAL MENTORING DAY IS ALL ABOUT

Chelsey Baker, a business mentor who has won awards, created this day in 2014 to honor and praise all kinds of mentoring. The main point is to make more people aware of how important and rewarding mentoring is, and how it has a big effect on both our business and our society.

The goal of the day is to promote interactive conversations, events, and social media activities; to help everyone in the business work toward the same goals; and to show how helpful it is to both give and receive mentoring. Mentors, key influencers, and thought leaders from the world’s top professional mentoring organizations get together to honor the work that mentors do to help people and companies.
