SBI CBO recruitment 2023: The State Bank of India has issued a recruitment notice for 5,280 Circle-based officer (CBO) positions.
Candidates who want to apply can visit official website, sbi.co.in, starting tomorrow, November 21, and ending on December 12, 2023.
The recruitment test is scheduled to take place in January.
SBI CBO Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, candidates are required to possess a graduation degree from an accredited university or a Central Government-recognized equivalent qualification. Integrated Dual Degrees are also acceptable. Individuals who possess credentials in disciplines such as medicine, engineering, cost accounting, or chartered accountancy are also considered eligible.
As of October 31, candidates should fall within the age bracket of 21 to 30 years.
₹750 is the application fee for the general category. Applicants who qualify as SC/ST/PwBD are granted an exemption from the application fee.
The process of selection will comprise an online examination, screening, and interview.
A Descriptive Test (50 marks) and an Objective Test (120 marks) comprise the online examination. The Descriptive Test, which candidates are obligated to input their responses on the computer, is administered promptly following the Objective Test.
The two-hour objective examination consists of four sections and is worth a total of 120 points. Timing is specified for each individual section. The thirty-minute descriptive examination evaluates proficiency in the English language through the completion of two inquiries (essay and letter writing), which collectively account for fifty points.

Selection Procudure
In order to ascertain the merit list, the cumulative scores of the candidates in the Online Test shall be evaluated and classified into categories and circles. Candidates must satisfy the experience requirements established by the Screening Committee in order to qualify.
Potential candidates in excess of three times the number of vacancies by category and circle will be invited for an interview. If there are qualified candidates available, the selection process will start from the top rank on the merit list, which is circle- and category-organized.
Separately, candidates must pass both the online examination and the interview. For the final merit list, the cumulative scores from the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test administered online will be factored into the interview scores. In order to generate the final merit list, the weightages of the marks obtained in the Online Test and Interview will be normalized and assigned a ratio of 75:25, respectively.
