Having a master’s degree in computer applications or a four-year degree in engineering or technology from a school accredited by government organizations.

Desirable-

The ideal applicant would have worked on ICT projects, e-governance, networking, telecom, data center operations, software development, database administration, information security, and IT procurement and inventory management.

Regarding the Tech Officer:

Similar positions are regularly held by Central Government officers in the parent cadre or department. OR after three years of consistent work at Level 7 of the Pay Matrix. OR after five years of consistent work at Level 6 of the Pay Matrix. OR State Government, Public Sector Undertaking, and Autonomous Organization officers having the necessary experience who occupy regular positions at the appropriate grades.

Desirable-

Experience with ICT projects, e-governance, networking, telecom, data center operations and infrastructure management, IT inventory management and procurement, software development, database administration, and information security are required.

Regarding the Assistant Technical Officer:

Similar positions are regularly held by Central Government officers in the parent cadre or department. OR after three years of consistent work at Level 5 of the Pay Matrix. OR after five years of consistent work at Level 4 of the Pay Matrix. OR after seven years of consistent employment at Level 3 of the Pay Matrix. OR State Government, Public Sector Undertaking, and Autonomous Organization officers having the necessary experience who occupy regular positions at the appropriate grades.
