18-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot at Airport: A man was wounded in Texas before being transported to an airport, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. He had just turned eighteen years of age. He summoned his wife for assistance at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, informing her of his gunshot wounds. KPRC was able to obtain this information from the Houston police.

Caroleta Johnson, Houston Police Department commander, told KTRK, “He told her where to pick him up and when she drove to that location, she saw him limping. She was able to eventually get him in the vehicle, but not without incident because there was some shots being fired when she arrived at that location.”

The individual was transported to William P. Hobby Airport, according to KRIV’s report. According to KPRC, a family member administered CPR on him at the airport until the paramedics arrived. Sadly, the individual was subsequently pronounced dead.

According to KTRK, the police inspected the wife’s vehicle, which contained a child, and found no bullet holes. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident, according to press reports.
