73-Year-Old Driver’s Heroic Act: Tuesday afternoon, a vehicle crashed into a Lemay residence, killing a 73-year-old woman. At about 2:30 p.m., a collision occurred near the intersection of Kingston Drive and Telegraph Road. The car was on its roof within the debris of the house’s front wall.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, a vehicle travelling south on Kingston Drive near Telegraph Road was travelling at a “extremely high rate of speed” when it left the roadway, struck a barrier, and took flight.
Due to the automobile accident, the residence sustained significant damage. A second residence experienced the same fate. Authorities report that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Wednesday afternoon, she was identified as St. Louis resident Cheryl Doyon.
