Aaron Carter Autopsy Confirm That Singer Died From Drowning

According to a coroner’s report, US musician Aaron Carter accidentally drowned in his bathtub after ingesting narcotics. Carter, the younger sibling of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, was discovered dead in his Lancaster, California home on November 5.

Ingestion of sedatives and gas led to Aaron Carter’s death by drowning, as determined by his autopsy. He tested positive for alprazolam, which is commonly sold under the brand name Xanax.

Additionally, compressed difluoroethane was discovered. The report describes it as a “commonly used propellant in air spray cleaners” that “can induce euphoric feelings when inhaled.”

According to the Associated Press, Carter was last seen alive early on November 4 when police officers went to his residence. According to a police report included in the autopsy results, they were checking on him after observing him using an inhalant on an Instagram live stream.

Carter had asked for the police to depart. Later that day, he neglected an appointment with a drug counsellor, according to the police report. The following day, a woman who appeared to be a housekeeper offered Carter coffee at his residence.

When there was no response, she opened the door to find him unconscious in the Jacuzzi with the jets still running. The paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. Investigators uncovered prescription bottles and cans of an electronic cleanser inhaled by the man.

Carter launched his career as the Backstreet Boys’ opening act on a number of tours and performances. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, his four albums, the first of which was released when he was only nine years old, sold millions of copies.

His second album, Aaron’s Party (Come Get It), was released in 2000 and immediately achieved triple platinum certification. On the Oops! tour, he accompanied Britney Spears. The I Did It Again album is followed by a tour. Carter began rapping as he aged and also performed in Broadway musicals and on Dancing With the Stars.

Numerous trips to rehab and a 2013 bankruptcy filing due to significant debt, the majority of which was tax-related, were indicative of his struggles. In addition, he had multiple interactions with law enforcement for substance possession and reckless driving.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carter sought treatment in an effort to gain guardianship of his 2021-born son Prince last year. Many individuals paid tribute to Carter after his death, including Paris Hilton, Tyler Hilton, Hilary Duff, and the bands New Kids on the Block and *NSYNC.
