Drake And SZA’s First Official Collaboration: Drake and SZA collaborated on “Slime You Out,” which was released at noon on Friday, September 15 as the first single from Drizzy’s forthcoming album For All the Dogs.
The five-minute song is a fight fueled by deceit and betrayal. On the R&B-influenced track, Drake expresses his displeasure with spending excessive quantities of money on women.
There are numerous witty phrases, such as “sending wires on wires on wires like Idris.” Simultaneously, SZA responds to her beau’s false behaviour, including one massive haymaker: “Tripping when that d-k is barely third place.”
The well-known rapper first announced the single during the Austin stop of his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage. “I will even say something tonight in Austin, Texas, that I have never said before,” he disclosed at the Moody Centre.
“I know you’re eager to listen to the album. I’m aware that it’s about two weeks away. I will release a tune for you guys this week. Yes, indeed. What an era, what an era. I admire you all. I do, by the way, deeply. There is much affection in Texas.”
The green slime-covered album cover for “Slime You Out” was influenced by Halle Berry’s sliming at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Despite “Slime You Out” being Drake and SZA’s first formal collaboration, the two have acknowledged each other throughout their careers.

The 2016 single “2AM” by SZA references PartyNextDoor and Drake’s “Come and See Me” from the former’s 2016 album PartyNextDoor.
In “Diplomatic Immunity” from the 2018 Scary Hours two-pack, Drake raps, “I just pulled up on Solána show, the girl’s a natural/ I knew her way back when Hollywood was international.”
In his guest verse on “Mr. Right Now” from 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s upcoming album Savage Mode II, he raps, “Yeah, said she wanna f-k with some SZA, wait/ ‘Cause I dated SZA in 2008.” She later stated on Twitter — now X — that the couple dated in 2009, but that “in this case, a year of poetic rap licence mattered.”
So It was actually 2009 lol ????.. in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered ????lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait . Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace ???????????? .

SZA’s recent feature verse on Future-assisted “Telekinesis” from Travis Scott’s 2023 Utopia album appears to be a direct response to Drake’s third stanza on “Marvins Room” from his 2011 sophomore album Take Care.
On September 22nd, For All the Dogs will be released via OVO Sound and Republic Records. He announced the highly anticipated album’s release date on Instagram by posting a video of his father Dennis Graham performing with a blues band in the early 1990s on the local Toronto television programme Stormy Monday With Danny Marks.
For All The Dogs is the 8th studio album by the 6 God and his first solo album since the June 2022 release of his dance-heavy Honestly, Nevermind endeavour. Five months later, he collaborated on the album Her Loss with 21 Savage. Each album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
