Upon arrival, Lake County Sheriff’s Canine Dax and his handler Deputy John Forlenza traced past several outhouses on the property. In a residence on the same property, Biancala was discovered concealed. He was captured without incident.
According to Covelli, the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries sustained during the assault. Biancala was charged with four counts of aggravated domestic battery and one count of domestic battery.
According to state records, Biancala was paroled by the Illinois Department of Corrections in November 2020. In 2017, he was sentenced to four years in prison for aggravated domestic violence in Kane County.
According to Covelli, the sheriff’s office requests a parole violation warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections due to the suspect’s most recent conviction for domestic assault. Judge Theodore Potkonjak of Lake County ordered that a $350,000 bond be posted for Biancala.
Biancala must put up $35,000 in cash to be released from the Lake County Jail. On May 17, he is expected to appear in court once more.
