The Conners Season 6 Renewal Announcement: There are an additional nine episodes available, according to rumours. The Season 5 finale of The Conners on May 4 attracted 3.6 million viewers, making ABC’s Wednesday night a success.
The Conners continue to be one of the most popular comedies on ABC. Season 5 of the Roseanne spinoff premiered to a live-plus-same-day audience of 3.7 million viewers and a 0.53 rating in the 18-to-49 demographic. Seasonal averages for live+same day and the demo were roughly 3.8 million and 0.5 million viewers per episode, respectively.
Season 6 Renewal Announcement: The Conners Are Back
Bruce Helford, the show’s executive producer, has indicated that The Conners Season 6 will be the last. Earlier this year, in anticipation of the Season 5 finale, he told TVLine, “Sara Gilbert expressed to the network that we don’t want to go out without knowing that we are going out with a series finale so we can build to the right ending — and at this point, we feel that [next season] is possibly going to be the last season of The Conners.”
But it would be beneficial if you never presumed anything to be certain. Helford mentioned the high viewership of Season 5 as a possible renewal factor. The cast must renegotiate their contracts annually, leaving everything up for grabs.
In the second season of The Conners, Sara Gilbert, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, and Lecy Goranson will reprise their roles. Werner Entertainment is responsible for The Conners. Tom Werner, Gilbert Helford, Dave Caplan, Bruce Rasmussen, and Tony Hernandez serve as executive producers.
