Travis Scott Reveals The First Teaser For His Upcoming A24 Film
“Prepare to enter ‘Circus Maximus’ as Travis Scott takes his audience on a mind-bending visual journey around the world, woven together by the speaker-rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album ‘Utopia.’ The film is a surreal and psychedelic voyage that unites a group of visionary filmmakers from around the globe in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.”
Scott is scheduled to perform at Egypt’s Pyramids of Giza on Friday (July 28), contrary to false cancellation rumours, according to Live Nation. The tribute to “the world of Utopia” will also be broadcast live on television. Last week, Scott released his new single “K-Pop,” featuring The Weeknd and Bad Bunny.
Scott’s first solo album in five years will be titled Utopia, following his Grammy-nominated 2018 album Astroworld. Utopia is Scott’s first album since the Houston Astroworld Festival in 2021, where ten people died due to a crowd surge. A Texas grand jury determined in late June, nearly two years after the tragic incident, that Scott would not be charged with a crime.
